Tinfoil Barb

5-6cm Tinfoil Barb.
Latin Name: Barbodes Schwanaenfeldi.

Water Quality: Will require a water temperature of 22°C - 27°C with a PH of 6.0 - 7.5.

Compatability: Tinfoil Barbs are a pecefull schooling fish so should be keptin groups of at least 6. Will get along with almost any aquarium inhabitant but keep in mind they may nip at the fins of slow moving fish with big fins.

Diet: The Tinfoil Barb is Omnivorus so a mixed diet of flake, pellet, live or frozen daphnia and bloodworm will be required for optimal health and coloration.

The Tinfoil Barb Originated in southeast Asia where they are found in fast flowing rivers. They are playfull and avid swimmers and enjoy exploring all levels of the aquarium in their school.
