4cm Tiger/Banded Botia.
Latin Name:Syncrossus helodes

Water Quality: Will require a water temperature of 24°C - 30°C and a pH between 6.0 - 7.5 .

Compatability: Should not be kept with other fish that are much smaller thats its self as they may be intimidated by its size and active behavior. Avoid slow moving long finned fish such as bettas and guppies as trailing fins can be nipped.

Diet: Should be offered a variety of dry foods as well as frozen or livefood such as bloodworm, tubifex and artemia for optimal health and colouration. 

Inhabit flowing waters of all sizes from small headwater streams to main river channels, and during the wet season it migrates into flooded areas to feed and spawn.
