Latin Name: Botia Striata.

Water Quality: Will require a watertemperature of 21°C - 26°C with a pH of 6.0 - 7.5.

Compatability: Peacefull and will fit in well in a community aquarium but avoid slow moving long finned species as trailing fins can be nipped.

Diet: Omnivorus so a mixed diet of flake, pellet, wafer, live or frozen foods such as bloodworm, tubiflex or daphnia are required for optimal health and coloration.

Native to the clear mountain streams of Maharashtra and Western Ghats.
