Ellioti Cichlid

3-4cm Ellioti Cichlid.
Latin Name: Cichlasoma Elliotti.
Water Quality: Will require a water temperature of 25°C - 28°C with a pH between 7.0 - 8.5.
Compatability: Generally pecefull and can be kept in a community aquarium but can become agressive/territorial during spawning period so during this time the Ellioti Cichlid will need to be monitored.
Diet: Omnivourus so a mixed diet of high quality pellet, flake, live or frozen foods such as brineshrimp, mosquito larvae, bloodworm and daphnia will be required for optimal health and coloration.
The Ellioti Cichlid is a medium sized Central Americal Cichlid known from slow moving waters of the lower and middle river Valleys of the Rio Papaloapan basin of Eastern Mexico.
