Sucking Loach Algae-Eater

2-3cm Sucking Loach.
Latin Name: Gyrinocheilis Aymoneri.

Water Quality: Will require a water temperature of 22°C - 28°C witha pH of 6.0 - 8.0.

Compatability: When young Sucking Loach have a pecefull temprament but will become territorial as they age particularly with other algae eaters.

Diet: Although they do enjoy the micro-organisms found within algal growths in the aquarium they should also be offered a mixed diet of live or frozen bloodworm, brineshrimp and waferfor optimal health.

The Sucking Loach is a freshwater fish native to southeast Asia where they are found in large rivers.
