Clown Loach 3-4cm

3-4cm Clown Loach.
Latin Name: Chromobotia macracanthus.

Water Quality: Will require a water temperature of 25°C - 30°C with a pH of 6.0 - 8.0.

Compatability: Clown Loach will do well with nearly all community fish such as Barbs and tetras. Keeping 5 or more Clown Loach will make them more active in the mid to lower levels of the aquarium.

Diet: The Clown Loach is Omnivorus so a mixed diet of pellet, wafer, live or frozen bloodworm or brineshrimp will be required for optimal health and coloration. These fish also love to eat Snails.

Native to the Idonesian islands of borneo and sumatra where they live in flowing rivers for most of the year and at the start of the monsoon season retreat further upstream and inhabit smaller streams that are full of plant life where they will spawn
