Rainbow Cichlid

3-4cm Rainbow Cichlid.
Latin Name: Herotilapia Multispinosa.
Water Quality: Will require a water temperature of 22°C - 28°C with a water pH between 7.0 - 8.0.
Compatability: Rainbow Cichlids are generally pecefull and are well suited to be in a community tank. Can easily be kept in a tropical aquarium with other Catfish, tetras, rainbows and some livebearers. May become territorial during the spawning period so at this time they should be monitored.
Diet: Omnivorus so a mixed diet of pellet, flake, live or frozen foods such as tubiflex amd bloodworm will be required for optimal health and coloration. 
Rainbow Cichlids are found on the Pacific slope from the Guasaula River in Nicaragua to the Bebedro River in Costa Rica.
